City Walk Eats: The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar

City Walk Eats: The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar

This menu offers creative burgers, sushi or a combination of the two so you don’t have to decide.  It’s a great option for lunch or dinner with something for everyone.  We’ve never had the sushi here because we can’t seem to resist the gigantic, unique burger selection.  Our favourite…

The Jalapeño Popper Show Stopper

Beef burger, jalapeño-infused cream cheese, jalapeño bacon, fried jalapeños, jalapeño citrus aioli, lettuce, tomato, fresh sliced jalapeños, brioche bun. We’ve tried a few different sides with it, regular fries, sweet potato fries and sweet and spicy Thai cucumbers, all good options.

Last time we were there a friend got this delicious-ness (minus the bun and cheese as seen below)…

The Big Squeal

Beef burger, pulled pork, smoked gouda cheese, onion strings, bacon coleslaw, BBQ sauce, lettuce, pickles, brioche bun.  I can’t speak about this burger first hand but she’s ordered it twice now so she obviously enjoyed it and it looked and smelled amazing!

Cow Fish has a good selection of beer for the craft beer connoisseur but be prepared to fork over a pretty penny.  While I find the food prices to be quite reasonable for a theme park, the alcohol prices are still high like any restaurant, with the exchange rate, not always the best option.

Keep in mind that the portions here are again, share-worthy! We will often share a burger for lunch and get an extra side for with it.  We always say “we’ll order dessert if we’re still hungry,” we’ve yet to order dessert!  Another touch here that I enjoy is that they have Srirracha on every table. Mix a bit with some ketchup and you’ve got a great dip for your fries.

We have friends that have had the sushi and said it was great, their selection seems really good also.  With 17 burger options, countless sushi choices, appetizers, a kids menu and hand-spun milkshakes for dessert, there’s something for everyone!

Basically, we love this restaurant and it’s one of our favourites when we’re at Universal.
